This teapot is made in the UK by celebrated ceramist Sue Pryke and her husband John. “The porcelain clay is fired to a high temperature until it’s no longer porous, which is then polished by hand to give it a stone like quality. The lid is the same color as the body, with an oak handle.”

Care Instructions by Sue: The handle is made from untreated oak, you can keep it supple by applying an odourless oil, such as mineral oil. As the handle cannot be removed, hand wash only.
